Bad Weather
As a walking school, we understand that bad weather can complicate getting children to school. Please check the weather and give yourselves more time on days when the weather might be rainy or snowing. We appreciate the effort that has gone into having students arrive on time.
Important Health Reminder
Please help us keep our school community healthy by not sending students to school when they are unwell. If your child is experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, vomiting, or any other illness, we ask that they remain at home until they are fully recovered.
This helps prevent the spread of illness and ensures that all students and staff can stay safe and healthy. We appreciate your cooperation and support.
Heppy’s Pies
Our school is holding a fall fundraiser in partnership with Heppy's Pies, a local company that makes meat pies, dessert pies and a variety of sweets. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go back into the school to help support classroom initiatives, guest speakers and programming, to name a few.
Paper order forms will go home today with all students in grade primary-9, and we have also attached a digital copy for your convenience. Students are asked to return orders and all payments (cash only) to their homeroom teacher by Monday, November 3. Please ensure proper totals are given as change will not be issued. Orders will be delivered to the school by mid-December. The official date will be communicated once we know how many orders are to be filled. Pies are frozen so families and friends can choose when to enjoy them. They will come in time for the holidays!
As always, your support is appreciated. For more information on Heppy's Pies, please visit www.heppys.com.
We remind you that there is no school for students tomorrow, Friday the 24th. We will see students on Monday. Have a lovely weekend,
