Active School Travel Survey
As part of the Active School Travel study, the Halifax Regional Municipality is seeking your input on how students to travel to and from school using active modes such as walking, biking and rolling with scooters or mobility devices
This baseline and program option study are in support of active and safe transportation for school based trips in the Halifax region. The anonymous survey takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete and will be available from May 4 to 29.
Take part in the survey at: engagehalifax.ca/AST-baseline-study
Temporary Trail Closure
Work on the access road is planned to begin on Monday, April 27, and we are advised this phase will not require a trail closure.
The Halifax Water work, which will require a trail closure, is currently scheduled to begin on May 4 and is expected to last approximately six weeks. We have attached a temporary closure map or your reference.
