Drinks from Outside
We have noticed an increase in students bringing beverages from places such as Starbucks and Tim Hortons into the classroom. We kindly ask that families refrain from sending students to school with these types of drinks. Moving forward, these beverages will not be permitted in classrooms. Water bottles remain the best option for students during the school day.
Pizza Day
We are again selling pizza slices for grades 5-9 during lunch tomorrow in support of the grade 9 year end trip.
Staffing Update
We would like to inform you that students who were previously taught by Ms. Salem will now be supported by Ms. Rademaker. Ms. Salem will not be returning for the remainder of the school year. We appreciate your understanding as we ensure a smooth transition for students.
Outdoor Clothing Reminder
As you know, Nova Scotia weather can be quite unpredictable, we can experience sun, rain, and even snow all in one day. Students continue to spend time outdoors daily, so we ask that they come prepared with appropriate clothing for changing weather conditions.
Morning Drop-Off – Driveway & Parking Lot Access
Families do not have access to the driveway or parking lot for student drop-off until after 8:45 a.m.
For safety reasons, please do not stop in the roadway or block the school entrance when dropping off students.
Book Fair
We are excited for the upcoming Scholastic Book Fair next week. We are able to accept payments by cash, Visa, Mastercard, debit, cheques made out to the school and MYDOH. Mydoh is a cashless payment option which would work well for younger students.
