School Update

Afternoon Families,

We’ve made it to Friday! 
Thank you to all of our families for the wonderful support you’ve shown over the past two days. As we wrap up the week, here are a few important reminders and updates:

1. Arrival Time – All students should be at school by 8:10 a.m. Arriving late disrupts learning and means students miss important opening instruction.
2. Visitors – All adults entering the school must first report to the office. Student and staff safety is our top priority.
3. Student Pick-Up – If you are picking your child up during the day, please sign them out at the office. This helps us keep accurate records in case of an emergency.
4. Metro Bus Passes – Passes were distributed today to junior high students. If your child was absent, their homeroom teacher will provide it when they return.
5. Recess & Lunch Weather – We will continue to go outside for recess and lunch unless weather conditions are extreme. Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for changing temperatures.
6. Lunch Cutlery – We have a very limited supply of forks and spoons at school. Please send any cutlery your child needs for their lunch.
7. Lunch Permission Forms – Forms for students who wish to leave school property at lunch are attached. 8. Nut-Free Reminder – To keep our school safe for all students, items such as peanut butter, nuts, and Nutella are not permitted.
9. Medication at School – If your child requires medication during the school day, it must be kept at the office. Medical forms are attached for families who need to provide medication to the school.
